Prelude to High Holidays: S’lichot
Posted on Thursday, September 15th, 2016
The prelude to the High Holiday services is S’lichot (“forgive” or “pardon”) on the Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah. S’lichot starts our High Holiday juices flowing as we begin to think about personal forgiveness in a way that opens our hearts to the High Holidays which follow. Decaf and danish will be served.
